Message For the 2 plus years I’ve had the Z it’s had a hesitation that has seemed to get wears. I tried every thing that I could think of to solve this problem. After reading a post from about 6 years ago about a hesitation problem, I noticed that the member that post the problem was still in active member. I then e-mailed him and It terns out it was worn splines on the CAS and camshaft. After looking at my camshaft splines it was now clear that they were badly worn. After posting in tech about the splines a member e-mailed me about a short term fix. Basically putting gasket sealer in the CAS with a new O-ring. Now after letting the silicone dry for a day my Z runs perfectly. It’s so much smother, and I know that it’s only an NA but it feels fast. I said problem solved, not problem fixed. So I can now order the new camshaft and CAS. So now I have to get ready for my 2nd plenum pull and timing belt removal. Thank you so much twinterbo.net.
